Mother’s Day

In this blog post I will be talking specifically about Mother’s Day in Mexico. Mother’s Day is a celebration to honor the mother or mothers in your family or of an individual, as well as any other mother figure you have in your life. It is celebrated on different days in many parts of the world.

In Mexico Mother’s Day is celebrated on May 10th. First off people usually plan ahead of time for their Mother’s Day plan. Many Mexicans usually bring together their family and celebrate with lots of flowers, food, and music. Even if their mom is not with them on earth anymore they still manage to have a little celebration this day of their lives with every other mother or they go to the cemetery and take flowers and spend a part of their day there. Some people may also surprise their mom with a mariachi. Mother’s usually never expect this surprise and end of crying of happiness from this surprise.
