Prom

A prom is a formal dance at the end of a school year. For many high schools or colleges, the senior prom is a big deal, juniors also get the chance to attend. The students get dressed up and get to take many photos. Students going to a prom will sometimes rent limousines or nice cars to get there, and dress in fancy gowns and tuxedos. They also get to dance and enjoy the night with their classmates.

Students attending prom mainly have a date and they usually do prom proposals to ask their date for prom. These prom dates then get the chance to go shopping and get their matching outfits. The dates also may get prom boutonniere and corsage this is just a way of showing kindness or honoring them for being your date. Dates are not required now-a-days many other students just go to prom with their group of friends as well. This is a night to celebrate and create many memories with many people.
