When I first got sick back in 2019 that’s when I was able to get my truck. At first I thought I was going to be able to work as much as I could to be able to build my truck, but then my condition got worse. I started to gain a bunch of weight and it wasn’t just normal weight it was liquid that my kidney were releasing and that when things turned from bad to horrible. It took a long time to be able to get all of that liquid out of my body and I wasn’t able to do it by myself I had to take a pill called furosemide that made my bladder work harder or something like that. After about 7 months of being swollen with with all of that liquid I finally looked normal and was able to do things I was usually able to do.
I later started to work in construction specifically in drywall where I started to make a good amount of money and was finally able to get started on my build. I started doing little things to it like my headlights and taillights. Then it started getting into the interesting things like the drop kit, the c-notch, then engine work. It was all a long process where tears were shed from frustration, anger, and worry, but now that I was able to see light at the end of the tunnel I know I can push forward to make sure I don’t give up.
