Snacks

This previous year changed the life of every single soul. I for example had absolutely nothing to occupy myself with so I decided to eat a different, healthier way. I used to eat chips, ice cream, and soda regularly. I vowed to never drink soda again and so far I have maintained my promise. Now that I can not eat what I previously used to I found new substitutes. Instead of soda and juice I only drink water. My sister who is currently working on becoming a nurse and a minor in nutrition has been guiding me. Not many people know how to read the labels of foods which is a disadvantage because we think we may be consuming something beneficial for our bodies when in reality it is damaging us.

One of my favorite snacks that I have usually in the morning is Greek yogurt with blueberries, strawberries, granola, and nuts.

My favorite smoothie is strawberry banana and it only takes a few seconds to prepare. I use frozen strawberries with banana and I use almond milk and instead of sugar I use maple syrup.

After a long day I cut a slice of melon that I accompany with orange and cucumbers.

Eating healthier is all about discovering the variety of fruits and vegetables. It is not difficult you only have to be creative and try new things.

This website helps consumers understand how to read food labels.
