Ms. Goodson-

When you think of kindness, you think of being nice and doing good deeds. But at Harrison kindness is Ms. Goodson. Having someone that cares for her students education more than caring for herself means a lot to students more than she understands. She teaches English 1,2, and 3. Her quote that she tells me a lot is ”love you”. Ms. Goodson has some very interesting facts, she is a vegetarian, she is from New Jersey, and she likes to travel a lot. When asked what is your favorite food she answered ” blueberry little bites” When asked is she believes in bigfoot she answered “bigfoot is real” When I asked what is your favorite movie she said Shawshank Redemptions. What is your favorite part of teaching “my students are my favorite part of my day”. And when I asked the last question of what is your dream she said ” I want to open up my own organic restaurant where all the food is affordable to you”.

BRYAN ALMARAZ
Quote- “Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.”- Martin Luther King Jr.

If there was one student who embodies the spirit would be Bryan Almaraz just by the way carries himself in the classroom as well as athletically. Some interesting facts that I learned was that he plays the saxophone and plays soccer for the school. When asked what he has learned from being at Harrison he postponed saying that it “taught it him how to be a leader and deal with adversity. The quote he used above shows that drives for hate to be gone and for there to be positivity only. Bryan in the long run wants to leave a legacy inside the classroom  but also on the soccer field whether it be by playing or by helping a teammate out with a subject they may be struggling with.

In a world where there is a lot going wrong and disagreements every second it is important to have people who shine brightly. Harrison high school is filled with people who shine bright in the dark times between teachers and students. Isaac Montgomery is a senior who is a perfect example of this. All the way from middle school to know Isaac is always someone who has a smile and can turn a frown upside down. If you know Nikola Jokic from the nuggets  they give off the same vibe, it’s hard to not smile around them. IMG_0667.PNG

Isaac’s favorite sport is basketball and played it for many years.

Due to basketball Isaac tore a muscle and had to be out playing for sometime.

He loves going to the gym by himself and with other people.

He has a shoe collection from the newest to classic olds, otherwise a sneakerhead.

Isaac is a senior class on 21 and has always brought the school spirit from cheering in the crowd to doing all the spirit days.

He is excited to graduate and see where life takes him after high school.
