A Little About Me

Hi, my name is Sophia Annahi Ortega, I am going to tell you a little about myself. First off with the basics. My favorite color is blue, any kind of  blue, my favorite  number is six, I am a freshman, I am fourteen years old and I love dogs. And when I say I love dogs I mean I LOVE DOGS. I had one whose name was reina as queen in spanish, but I called her my queen. I had her since I was seven years old but sadly she died last year. It was like I lost a part of myself when I lost her. Because she is my family, because a dog is really a man’s best friend. But in my case, the girl’s best friend.

I grew up in Roswell NM, but now obviously I live in Colorado. I really like volleyball even though I never tried out because honestly I didn’t think I had what it takes. But I might just try next time. I always wanted to learn soccer. I am Mexican, American. I have a big family obviously, I have a lot of family in Mexico, but I don’t have pictures. We have a big family picture but I don’t have it on my phone. But I do have pictures of my siblings. My oldest sister is twenty and she lives in Albuquerque, she is getting ready to go to college. My oldest brother is about to graduate high school, but he is still unsure what he wants to do after that. My youngest siblings are seven, their twins. In Roswell my mom is a nurse and my stepdad is a stay at home day, but he does a lot at home. But here my dad works construction and my stepmom works at a salon and when she’s not working at the salon she works at chilies as well. I love my family, family is the most important thing to me. I will never turn my back on them no matter what. Because at the end of the day family is all you got.

I am a very shy person and when I mean shy I mean so shy in my head I’m already crying on the first day of school. But when you get to know me I can be a little annoying. But I’m fun and goofy and a great friend when needed. When people ask me what I want to be or do when I am older I always say the same thing. I want to be a writer  but I’ve been thinking about becoming a doctor. I write stories sometimes. I love to read and write. And I am going to travel the world. And when ready I am going to settle down with a family. With or without a man in my life my future involves kids. So that is basically everything you need to know so, bye.
