When I think about the holidays, I think about music. When I think about music, I think about Selena Quintanilla-Perez. She’s my all time favorite singer I love every song she sang, well at least the songs she made before passing. She was so talented not just as a singer but, a model, actress and of course her passion besides singing a fashion designer. She was so beautiful and young and it was an awful thing that she had to go at just the age of 23.
Every day I think about all the amazing songs she could have made throughout the years. And I think that maybe she would have made songs about the holidays and about family. Even though Selena was Mexican, she did not know spanish. That is until her dad sat her down and taught her. Which later lead to her making her amazing music. Her father loved her dearly and was so happy that she had a passion for singing. Because her dad also sang when he was younger, even though it didn’t work out for him, he was blessed with such an amazing daughter along with his other children.

Selena received her very first grammys award. All though she passed away her legend still lives on and of course her music lives on too. I admire that she saw what she wanted to do and she went for it. Witch later on lead to fame. But she never forgot about her family, her family were her biggest supporters. They worked together until the end. People have moved on but her music and presents will never be forgotten. It seemed that Selena didn’t care much for the fame but she mostly care that she followed her dreams and made her family proud and she found her soulmate. To this day Selena is 49 years old. She was such a good person and friend. But I’m sure that she is in heaven looking over family.
